Event for young people aged 12-17, organised by the Focolare Movement

This event aims to:

Provide an experience of global solidarity amongst young people
Promote a culture of acceptance and inclusivity for all
Inspire and challenge young people to recognise what they can do within their own communities to build a better world
Offer a fun, memorable occasion in a landmark venue

Where: ‘The Scoop at More London’, More London Riverside, SE1 2DB (beside City Hall, Tower Bridge and opposite the Tower of London).

What will happen?
The programme is from 3.00-5.30pm. Arrivals and registration from 2.30pm.

It will include:
Run4Unity – an hour of a mixture of sporting activities
Team-building games
Live music and dance
News and live linkups from Run4Unity events happening simultaneously around the world
Ideas for taking action locally
Stories of actions in which young people have already been involved

This event is part of Bridging London, an on-going project of the Focolare Movement. This cross-cultural initiative seeks to promote dialogue between people of different faiths, backgrounds and ages, recognising that by working together we can build a sense of community in London and develop a better city for all.
