The Mariapolis is one of many gatherings organised by the Focolare movement worldwide. The aim of the Mariapolis is to create the spirit of a family between all present by putting into practise the golden rule of “Treat others as you would like to be treated” and drawing inspiration from Christ’s prayer “May they all be one“ (John 17:21).
The programme consists of a variety of activities including reflections and presentations, moments of worship, a special programme for children, workshops, games, a ceilidh and a choice of outings. The Mariapolis will be held at Elmwood College, in the old market town of Cupar, Fife, 9 miles from St Andrews. The Cupar Sports centre is just next to the Campus.

Accommodation
Full board accommodation is in single rooms at Elmwood College, in a three storey building on the main campus. On each corridor there are shared bathrooms, shower and toilet facilities, and also a kitchen. The rooms will be allocated in blocks for families or for groups of single males or females.
Breakfast, lunch and the evening meal will be served in the campus restaurant nearby, starting with supper on Monday evening and ending with breakfast on Friday.
Places in the college are limited and should be booked early.

Baby under 2 (bring own cot): no chargeThere is a choice of self-catering, caravan, camping, bed & breakfast or en-suite hotel accommodation available nearby, which can be booked independently.

How to book
Download and complete the booking form with a deposit and send it to Ardmory, 30 Langside Drive, Glasgow G43 2QQ as soon as possible since places are limited. Final balances should be paid by the end of June. Cheques should be made payable to Mariapolis ltd.Registration will be from 3.00pm Mon 7th July.

CUPAR near St. AndrewsFrom Edinburgh
Follow signs to the Forth Road Bridge, then continue on the M90 northbound
Leave the M90 at junction 8 and join the A91 towards Auchtermuchty, Cupar and St Andrews
Contiunue through Auchtermuchty, following signs for Cupar
After passing the Scottish Deer Centre on the right continue for a further 2 miles
Elmwood College is on the left hand sideFrom Perth
Follow the M90 southbound
Leave the M90 at Junction 9 and join the A913 towards Cupar
Upon entering Cupar, turn right onto the A91, following signs to Auchtermuchty.
Continue for ¼ mile

Leave Dundee via the A92, Tay Bridge following signs for Glenrothes
Turn left at the Melville Lodges Roundabout onto the A91, following signs for Cupar.
After passing the Scottish Deer Centre on the right continue for a further 2 miles
